Before November 1, 2023 – text or email Julie Leet (parent rep) or Téa Brahn (captain) that you are committing to the team

November 15, 2023 – registration forms due (Julie will provide forms and instructions to all racer families November 2)

November 30, 2023 – first half of coaching fees due (current estimate for full coaching fees = $980)

The IBW Ski Team is a competitive race team that trains for and competes in slalom and giant slalom races. Skiing is a sport that can be enjoyed throughout one's life. While we are competitive, our main goals are becoming the best skiers we can while bonding with our peers and creating great memories. You do not need to be an experienced skiier or have previous ski race experience to join the team. However, you do need to have a positive attitude and a desire to learn and any previous athletic experience definitely helps.  Reach out to one of team captains or parent volunteers listed above. Please do not contact our coach with miscellaneous questions.

FEES 
* Payment of $490 due no later than November 30, 2023
* The balance of $490 will be due by January 5, 2024

Make checks payable to ‘Ida B. Wells High School Ski Team’ and mail to Julie Leet 8446 SW 30th Ave Portland OR 97219 or drop off at IBW front office Ski Team Box. You may also pay via Venmo @Julie-Leet

IBWHS PHYSICAL CLEARANCE FORM
We require a valid physical on file with the Athletic Department.  Physicals are valid for 2 years.  You can download the physical form at https://www.osaa.org/docs/forms/Physical%20Examination%20Form%20(EN%20r2017).pdf You can email completed forms as a scanned PDF to Leanne Van Horn at lvanhorn@pps.net or drop off a paper copy to Room 121.  Be sure and keep a copy of the physical for your records as well.
